Our full service optical laboratory is equipped with the latest manufacturing equipment to allow us to produce most pairs of glasses on premises in about an hour. Our lab includes the manufacturing of single vision, bifocal and progressive lenses. We are also able to produce glass lenses and hi-index lenses. The lab is also equipped for special orders such as lens tint and rimless frame design.
Type of Lenses
- Progressive lenses offer a no line design that allows for clear vision at distance and near along with intermediate distances.
- Bifocal lenses have a portion of the lens dedicated for distance viewing and another for near tasks through a visible segment.
- Transitions lenses respond to changes in lighting conditions.They are clear indoors but darken when exposed to UV light. The lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
- Hi-index lenses are specially designed lenses which are thinner and lighter compared to lower index lenses. They are recommended for individuals with high power prescriptions.
